Intro to Beer Brewing Class
In this two part class, students will assist in the brewing and bottling of a beer.(style to be determined by survey as people sign up for the class).
The first day of class will run around 3 hours and will consist of a brew session covering all the steps from the brew kettle to the fermenter. Students will get to be hands on in the process as we discuss the purpose of each of the steps as well as other methods that can be used. We will also be sampling other class beers and discussing the different styles and their ingredients and flavor profiles.
The bottling portion of this class takes place three weeks from brew day and students will be able to take home a six pack of their beer after they bottle it up. This portion only takes about an hour and a half and students will get to taste their beer for the first time right out of the fermenter.
No brewing experience is necessary to partake in these classes.
